After serving as a Trooper with the Nebraska State Patrol for over seven years, Loren started his Lutheran Brotherhood (now Thrivent Financial) practice in Sioux Falls, SD in 1976.  He attained membership in the distinguished Million Dollar Round Table in 1977 and is a Life & Qualifying member.  He is a member of the Thrivent Financial Hall of Fame.  He is privileged to serve nearly 900 families and businesses in Sioux Falls and the surrounding area regarding their financial, investment, and insurance planning.  He is active in his church, community, and industry.  He is a past-president of the Sioux Falls Education Foundation Board of Directors, as well as several industry organizations.  He and his wife of 42 years, Sheila, have three grown sons, two of whom are married which have produced 7 grandchildren.  He joined Sioux Falls Rotary West in 1986.  He’s a past-president and has been active with their Foreign Exchange Student program.  He enjoys reading, jogging, and watching sports.
