District Governor

Richard H. Nolte of the Rotary Cub of Custer, South Dakota is the District Governor for Rotary Year 2007-2008. Richard has been a Rotarian for over 20 years-twelve years in LeSueur, MN and nine years in Custer, SD. Dick was the president of the LeSueur club during the 1993-1994 year and the president of the Custer club 2006-2007.

Dick's business career has been in the music and electronic sales and service. He was owner/manager of the Music Store in LeSueur, MN from 1965-1979. Currently, he is busy with custom installation of Audio/Video/Security/Fire Alarm systems.

Dick and his wife, Bernadine, have hosted Rotary Exchange students on three occations. They have hosted GSE team members in their home several times and Dick was the GSE Leader on the team visiting District 3780 in the Philippines in April, 2001.

Dick is a veteran of the Air Force, has been Post Adjutant and President of the Belle Plaine, MN American Legion post. Dick is a history buff and has been president of the Ottawa Chapter Histiorical Society in LeSueur MN. Dick is active in the Rotary RV Fellowship/International Travel as well as a member of the Hosting Fellowship. Both Dick and Bernadine are Paul Harris Fellows.
