Group Study Exchange (GSE) Applications Requested
District 5610 outbound team to District 3700 (Daegu City, South Korea)
Candidates for a Rotarian Team Leader and four Team Members (non-Rotarians between the ages of 25-40) for the outbound Group Study Exchange to District 3700 (Daegu City, South Korea) are being sought.
GSE is an educational program of The Rotary Foundation which offers unique cultural and vocational exchange opportunities for business professionals. The four week exchange to District 3700 will occur in April of 2007.
Team leader candidates must be experienced Rotarians, who are willing to lead the team and act as a liaison between team members and the host clubs. The leader must possess a willingness to play an active role in the team's preparations and orientation prior to departure Applications and other GSE information are available at the Rotary Website- Rotary.org under the heading-The Rotary Foundation-Educational Programs-Group Study Exchange.
Applications for Team Leader are due by December 4, 2006 with interviews tentatively scheduled for December 16, 2006 via videoconference in Sioux Falls and Rapid City.
Team member candidates must be endorsed by a local club and cannot be spouses or lineal descendants of current Rotary members. These candidates shall be professional and/or business people currently employed for at least two years and 25-40 years old. Employers must give permission for the candidate to participate in the exchange before the interview process. Candidates must be enthusiastic about experiencing and learning about another culture, willing to commit to the four weeks of travel, and play an active role in the team's preparations.

Team member applications are due by December 15, and interviews are tentatively scheduled for Saturday, January 6, 2006 via videoconference in Sioux Falls and Rapid City.
