District 5610 has 15 students going to RYLA this year! Those who have turned in their applications include:
Sioux Falls South - 4 Applicants
Pierre/Ft. Pierre - 5 Applicants
Watertown - 2 Applicants
Sioux City, IA - 1 Applicant
Clark - 1 Applicant
Luverne - 2 Applicants - both applicants prior 4-Way Test essay contest winners.
TOTAL: 15 students going to RYLA
For those District 5610 Rotary Clubs who will not be sending a student to RYLA camp this year, they will be receiving an email with a couple of different options on how they can support RYLA Camp this summer.
Payment for RYLA students is due by May 15th. The District will reimburse each club 50% ($225) for each student who actually comes to camp. If a student does not end up coming to camp, the sponsoring Rotary Club is typically not reimbursed. However, with that said, each incident is reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
