The Sioux Empire Water Festival is a hands-on educational event designed to teach area students about one of our planet’s most essential resources—water. Through interactive activities and demonstrations, students learn about the many ways water supports our communities, environment, and daily lives. The festival also emphasizes the importance of protecting and preserving water quality for future generations.
Working alongside the Educators Rising students, Rotarians helped guide activities and engage young learners throughout the day. Their efforts contributed to an impactful experience for more than 2,200 fourth-grade students from across the region.
By volunteering at the festival, members of the Centerville Rotary Club continue to demonstrate Rotary’s commitment to education, environmental stewardship, and community service—helping inspire the next generation to value and protect the resources we all depend on. 💧🌎
