Madison Rotary Club joins Best Buddies at the State Park at Lake Herman for games, food, and fellowship
Madison Rotarians joined in the fun with Best Buddies, a great community initiative led by Marci Hoffman and the Learning Center at Madison High School. Marci organizes a group called Best Buddies, which connects students with special needs to community volunteers through fun, inclusive events.
Their final school year event is State Park Night was Thursday, May 8, at Lake Herman State Park – Shelter 2 (near the playground, bocce ball area, and frisbee golf course). The evening will include yard games, food, and fellowship between students, Troop members, and volunteers and Rotarians.
