The Rapid City Rushmore Rotary Club brought the magic of Rotary and the message of peace to life during the 2024 Holiday Parade. This year, the club’s float embodied the spirit of the season with the theme of peace—a message that resonated through a brilliantly lit sign that illuminated the night.

Adding a signature Rotary touch, the float proudly featured a Rotary wheel, symbolizing the club’s commitment to service above self and its dedication to making a positive impact locally and globally.
The float, crafted with care and creativity by club members, was a true labor of love. From assembling the structure to designing the light display, it was a collaborative effort that showcased the strong fellowship within the club. On board the float were DG Bruce Nearhood, Jennifer Rollins, Rene Sorenson and Jeff Kingsbury.
As the float made its way through the parade route, spectators cheered and admired the glowing message of peace, reminding all in attendance of the importance of unity, kindness, and hope during the holiday season.
