While attending RYLA, Mollie and Brooklynn worked together to build a Little Library. After camp, they brought their project home and recently installed it at the Town and Country Mobile Home Park, conveniently located by the community mailboxes.
With the help of Watertown Rotary President David Ross and Lisa Carrico, both of whom served as RYLA camper drivers, the Little Library was successfully installed and is now ready to provide residents with an opportunity to share and discover books.
Mollie and Brooklynn enjoyed their RYLA experience and were excited to find the perfect location for their Little Library. Their project is a wonderful example of how RYLA inspires young people to develop leadership skills, serve their communities, and turn great ideas into meaningful action.
